Grab a comfortable pair of shoes and join our local walking club - bringing together low intensity movement,
nature and connection to those within our community! For an hour each Saturday, we will meet at an outdoor
park/area and walk together as a small group. Walking is a great form of low intensity exercise that requires no
equipment or skills and carries low risk of injury. Boosting the immune system, reducing stress and helping
maintain a healthy body weight are just a few of the benefits walking provides. Being in nature elicits positive
feelings of calmness, joy and serenity which has been shown to help to reduce anxiety and stress. This course
aims to connect individuals and foster relationships with those around you and is ideal for those who are capable of engaging in a low intensity walk for 1 hour. Bring: water bottle.
