« back to classes page
Tunisian Crochet is often described as a combination of knitting and crochet, but it is really more of a variation on crochet techniques, using one long hook. Tunisian crochet stitches and fabrics can look considerably different from regular crochet, and it is a great way to expand into unique options beyond conventional crochet. We will learn a variety of different Tunisian stitches and techniques. Students in this course should already be comfortable with basic crochet techniques; if you are new to the craft, we recommend starting with Beginning Crochet. There is a $10 material fee for a 12" Tunisian/afghan hook, provided at first class. Please bring some #4/worsted practice yarn to class.
