« back to classes page
If you're comfortable with basic knit & purl fabrics, why not try something new? This class is designed to be a very accessible "next step" in your knitting journey. We'll learn just a couple of simple techniques and explore how lace patterns are knitted. The sample project is a small, triangular lace bandana/kerchief. The pattern is very straight-forward and not too elaborate. Perfect for advanced beginners and those looking to expand their skills. Students in this course should already be comfortable with basic knitting techniques; if you are brand new to the craft, we recommend starting with Beginning Knitting. There is a $15 material fee for a lovely, airy, high-quality cotton blend yarn to use for this project. You will need to bring your own US size 4 (3.5 mm) needles.
